Each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the Intracoastal Christmas Regatta takes place on the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. This maritime boat parade is not only a spectacular show, but also a much loved community fundraiser.
Viewing Locations
The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta will take place on Nov. 28, 2020, starting at the Little River Inlet at 5 PM and travels south, arriving at Dock Holidays Marina at 7 PM. You’ll be able to see the parade from any waterfront location on this route, such as:
Community Impact
Through fundraising activities and toy drives, the Yachts for Tots volunteers strive to meet the needs of children in Horry County who, for one reason or another, might be falling through the cracks of traditional agencies that provide assistance. Yachts for tots assists children with specific needs as they arise, year-round. They also make annual contributions to camp chemo, teen angels, and/or other local charities
Get Involved
In addition to watching the parade, which we highly recommend, you can also support the cause by:
- Entering your boat into the parade
- Donating toys, dog or cat food, and kitty litter
- Making a Monetary Donation
- Donating in-kind
- Purchasing an event t-shirt
- and spreading the news!

Hi Jean, great question. I’m not sure how many boats are in the parade this year. The regatta’s new website is https://yachts4totsinfo.wixsite.com/christmasregatta or you can call them at 843-249-8888 during business hours.
