Dear Little River Chamber of Commerce Members,
I would like to relate a story to you that proves there are advantages to belonging to the chamber and participating in their events. Last month I attended Business after hours hosted by Summit Place even though it had been a long day and I just wanted to veg out in front of the TV. I have made some great contacts at these events but was not expecting what was about to happen.
Andy Marron introduced himself as owner of A&G Computer Service, we exchanged cards and chatted for a while, which is the purpose of Business after hours. Later, after being asked to speak about our center, Andy approached me offering to help us with our computer problems at no charge. Several have offered before but never delivered. Here’s what took place.
The next day he picked up our non-working computers and dashed out the door promising to return soon. To our surprise he came in the following day and in no time at all hooked up the new computer, got us connected to a previously unusable printer and soon after supplied us with another computer then connected them all.
To him it was light work but to us we, finally after four years, had an operational office. I am so glad I chose to attend and want to make the point that networking is the greatest tool in business.Thank you Andy, you will never know how much you did for us and thank you Little River Chamber for making it possible.
